A CASED .30 RIMFIRE FOUR-SHOT DERRINGER PISTOL, MODEL 'SHARPS PATENT MODEL 2A', serial no. 72,
circa 1875, with reblued slide-forwards 3in. barrel-group, plain brass frame signed 'C. SHARP'S PATENT 1859' in a circle around the hammer axis screw on both sides, centrally mounted blued hammer with rotary auto-indexing nose, smooth, possible replacement walnut grip and push button opener, together with an English market embossed chequered leatherette case, the inner lid signed 'WILKINSON, PALL MALL LONDON', the tray compartmented and lined in blue velvet and containing a blocked compartment for twelve rounds of ammunition and a cleaning rod compartment (rod absent)
