circa 1865, with over-under re-nickelled 5in. barrel configuration, applied triangular fore-sight, hammer-nose notch rear-sight, fully fluted short twenty-shot staggered cylinder firing on alternate outer and inner chambers, re-nickelled open iron frame, the recoil shield with swing open loading gate, plated external spurred hammer with twin noses, smooth semi saw-handled walnut grips, lanyard ring to the heel, folding trigger with double-action only mechanism and plunge ejector rod
