29 3/4in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'E.M. REILLY & CO. NEW OXFORD STREET. LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. choke in both, Jones patent rotary-underlever with ring tip, carved serpentine fences with feather and ropework detailing, non-rebounding bar-action locks with carved hammers of hare's-ear form, brass load-indicator studs, ropework and beaded border engraving with bold acanthus scrolls, surrounding scenes of fowl in their naturalistic habitats on the locks and a hound on point on the underside, retaining very slight traces of some colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock including steel buttplate, fore-end with cross-pin release catch and horn finial, weight 7lb. 5oz.
