30in. replacement nitro chopperlump barrels (by the makers in 1987, barrel number 9983), the rib engraved 'BOSS & CO. 13 DOVER STREET. LONDON.', and gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the triggerplate with single trigger patent details, retaining virtually full renewed colour-hardening and finish, 15in. highly-figured replacement stock with matching fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 15oz., in a brass-cornered oak and leather case with canvas and leather outer, the lid outer finely marked '5504' to the lower right corner
