A 12-BORE (CENTRAL VISION) 'NO.3 GRADE' BACK-ACTION SIDELOCK NON-EJECTOR, serial no. 26458,
28in. replacement nitro barrels, the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON', the under rib with 'MADE IN ENGLAND', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, patent gas checks, toplever with swept thumbpiece, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail (requires attention, rear trigger firing on safe), gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, border engraving, retaining some renewed colour-hardening, 15 3/4in. replacement stock cast and swept towards central vision, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release, weight 6lb. 12oz.

Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was completed as a 'C Grade' hammerless ejector gun in September 1909 for Harrington Brown. It is noted as being back with them as second hand stock in 1929
