26in. nitro chopperlump barrels with short sight ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2' and ramped bead fore-sights, side-ribs, the over barrels engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, the extra pair of 26in. nitro reproved chopperlump barrels with short sight rib gold-inlaid '1' and ramped bead fore-sight, side-ribs, the over barrel engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, Teague multichokes (with spares), carved fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, cocking-indicators, engraved with acanthus scrollwork and floral bouquets, the undersides with 'J. PURDEY & SONS. LONDON. ENGLAND.', retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 15in. figured replacement pistolgrip stocks, weight 7lb. 6oz., in their brass-cornered leather case with accessories and canvas and leather outer, together with their original straight hand stocks

research would indicate Felix Fenston to be Felix Donovan Fenston (1915 - 1970), a property developer who served in the Intelligence Corps during the Second World War
