23 5/8in. nitro monobloc barrel, ramped partially file cut rib (one patch surface pitting) with open sights, ramped bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diavari ZM 2,5-10x48 T* telescopic sight, serial no. 748646, in quickly-detachable mounts, scroll-back round bodied action with hold-open toplever, manual safety, set triggers, double rolled-edge triggerguard, the action and furniture profusely carved in high relief with stylised art deco scrolls on a darkly matted background, intermingled with finely engraved depictions of stag and hind, boar, roe buck and doe, mouflon and ibex, the triggerplate signed 'Da Justa', bright finish, 15 3/4in. highly-figured stock with cheekpiece, engraved skeletal steel pistolgrip-cap and including 5/8in. leather covered recoil pad, the fore-end iron engraved en suite, with Deeley & Edge patent release and horn finial, weight 6lb. 13oz.
