25in. nitro reproved chopperlump barrels (London reproof in 1985) converted to rimless from flanged, matt sight rib with open sights and folding leaf sight, marked 50, 200, 150 and 350, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with fold-over protector / moonsight, the breech end with quickly-detachable telescopic sight mount bases, the rib engraved ' .30 "SUPER" RIMLESS', tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET, LONDON.', the underside of the barrels engraved 'CONVERTED TO RIMLESS BY J. RIGBY & CO. LONDON.', and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' to the under rib, treble-grip action with hidden third bite and side-bolsters, elongated top strap, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, hand-detachable lockplates, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated chequered front trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, best bold Royal scroll engraving, the underside with an elaborate cartouche engraved 'ROYAL MODEL', bright and reblued finish overall, 14 1/8in. boldly-figured pistolgrip stock (chequering refreshed) with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), sling swivels and including 1in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 9oz., in its lightweight leather case with Holland & Holland labels and also John Rigby & Co.
