Born on the 21st September 1909 he succeeded to the title of Raja in 1924 and invested with full ruling powers in 1929. He signed the Instrument of Accession to the Dominion of India on the 15th August 1947 and on the 28th May 1948 joined with twenty-four other Princely States to form the Madhya Bharat.
