NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A.', nickel 'Rocky Mountain' fore-sight, dove-tail for rear-sight (absent), slab-sided low-wall action with central hammer, later elevating peep-sight to top-tang, walnut butt-stock with crescent heel-plate and walnut splinter fore-end with ebony schnabel tip
