LONDON.', open sights removed, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the receiver mounted with a Zeiss Diatal Z 6x42T* telescopic sight, serial no. 2903600, safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, hollowed bolt knob, hinged floorplate with push button release, the floorplate with colour-hardened finish and finely engraved with bold floral and scroll engraving surrounding a central oval vignette of a roe buck head and curved banners engraved 'J. ROBERTS & SON. LONDON. ENGLAND', signed 'KF', the triggerguard gold-inlaid with the serial number, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, monte carlo comb, engraved and colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), sling swivels, the fore-end with horn finial and mounted with a Harris lightweight sprung bipod, 14in. pull including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 10lb. 3oz.
