Belgian circa 1880 and of Webley type, with ovoid 2 1/2in. barrel, nickel crescent fore-sight, solid frame with sighting groove to the top-strap and marked 'BRITISH BULLDOG', plain cylinder, side loading gate, swing-out centrally mounted ejector and coarsely chequered walnut birdshead grips, traces of a plated finish
