AN UNSIGNED VINTAGE FOLDING BOWIE-KNIFE,
late 19th or early 20th century and possibly English or German, with narrow clip-point 7 1/2in. blade released by a central escutcheoned button centrally mounted in the left hand scale, moustache nickel-silver cross-guard folding on closure, locking catch at rear of back-strap and fitted with fully chequered dark horn scales, together with its original moulded leather scabbard with nickel ball-ended chape
