AN EARLY TYPE ONE DRESS DAGGER FOR THE GERMAN LUFTWAFFE,
circa 1936, with 12in. double-edged blade etched with the maker's trademark at the forte and stamped with a 'waffenampt' style inspector's mark, solid nickel drooping cross-guard, wire-bound dark blue leather hilt, wheel pommel with bronze 'sunwheel' swastika inlay also repeated on the centre of the cross-guard, dark blue pebbled leather covered scabbard, nickel mounts and complete with its correct chain hanger
