26in. nitro reproved barrels (converted from .360 Express, London reproof in 1990), raised file cut rib with open sights and two folding leaf sights, white metal inlaid sight lines and marked 100, 200 and 300, ramped bead fore-sight with flip-up moonsight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diatal-C 1,5x12 telescopic sight, serial no. 1770921, in quickly-detachable mounts, the rubes engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS (FROM PURDEY'S) 63 PALL MALL, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON.', and 'CALIBRE 9.3X74R REGULATED FOR 285 GRS BULLET.', treble-grip action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine border and scroll engraving, retaining virtually full renewed colour-hardening and finish, 15in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with engraved steel pistolgrip-cap and including 7/8in. leather covered recoil pad, fore-end with grip catch release, weight 9lb. 1oz. (unscoped) and 10lb. 1oz. (with scope), in its brass-cornered oak-lined canvas case with some accessories (no provision for telescopic sight), with a photocopy of a John Rigby & Co. Gunmakers sighting target for 9.3x74R 285gr. ammunition at 65 metres
