28in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'W.C. CARSWELL, 4, CHAPEL STREET, LIVERPOOL.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with carved stylised leaf fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening and much reblued finish, 14 1/2in. stock, weight 6lb. 5oz.
