TWIGG', no visible serial number, circa 1840, with 30in. barrels, engraved top-tang, borderline and scroll engraved bar-action signed locks, engraved hammers, chequered walnut half-stock (worn smooth) with iron furniture and original worm-ended ramrod
Provenance: This gun is almost certainly the product of Edward Twigg of 34 Whittall St., Birmingham who was listed as trading between 1838-1845
