VINCENT', scrolled triggerguard underlever with barrel raising stud, slim pinfire fences, back-action island locks, the lockplates gold-inlaid 'M. J. CHAUMONT. FBT. A LIEGE', and with gold line bordering, the hammers inlaid en suite, the whole profusely engraved with bold scrolling floral motifs on a matted background, 14in. unchequered well-figured stock with cheekpiece (minor cracking to left overhorn) including steel buttplate with back strap, diminutive unchequered fore-end with crosspin release, sling eyes, weight 7lb. 5oz.
