A .303 (BRITISH) BOLT-ACTION REPEATING SNIPER RIFLE, MODEL 'NO 4 MK I (T)' serial G33083,
dated for 1944, with 25 1/4in. nitro barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight with side protectors, elevating rear battle sight, blackened receiver mounted with a period telescopic sight marked 'TEL SIGHTING No 32 MK III' and 'AK & S', serial no. 17399 dated 1945, twin thumb-wheel operated side-mount with non-matching serial number, manual safety, detachable box magazine with matching number, full-length stock with applied raised comb, the butt-stock stamped 'S51' to the underside, aluminium heel plate, correct stamps throughout and fitted with a period Pattern '08 leather sling.
