A VERY RARE .500 FLINTLOCK SEVEN-BARRELLED VOLLEY-GUN, MODEL 'NOCK'S PATENT', no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with 20in. barrel-group comprised of six barrels around a central seventh barrel and drilled for simultaneous fire, Tower proofs at breech to all, bead fore-sight (top-rib pitted), plain top-tang with sighting groove, truncated lock signed 'TOWER' and marked with a recumbent crown over 'GR' at tail, 'L' shaped frizzen spring, plain hammer, walnut handrail butt-stock with brass furniture (some filled worm and repairs), radiused comb, 'S' shaped flat sideplate, brass under-barrel ramrod thimbles and iron ramrod (woodwork re-finished, some furniture pieces cleaned)
