NEW BOND ST. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, W.M. Scott and T. Baker patent action, patent no. 761 of 1878, use number 857, engraved leaf fences, toplever engraved '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving interspersed with floral motifs, the left side engraved 'CLIMAX SAFETY HAMMERLESS', brushed finish, 14 1/4in. stock (likely replacement) including buttplate, weight 7lb. 2oz.
