circa 1870s, presumed Belgian, with 3in. octagonal barrel, plain cylinder within closed frame with hinged loading gate, extractor mounted on left and integral grip-straps, smooth wooden grips with provision for a lanyard ring, front sight missing from barrel, spur broken from hammer, action a/f and generally rusted overall
