A GOOD WORLD WAR I PATTERN 1907 SWORD BAYONET, dated 1917, with 17 in. single-edged steel blade, fullered on each side, ricasso marked with king's crown, 'G. R. / 3. 17 / SANDERSON' with Broad Arrow, bend test 'X' and various inspection marks over, blued steel hilt with rivited wooden grips, pommel marked '2 N / 43', black leather scabbard with steel fittings, together with a green canvas frog stamped with Broad Arrow, maker's details and '42', a little pitting to top of pommel and some scruffs to the scabbard, 22 1/2 in. overall
