A CONTINENTAL SOCKET BAYONET, mid 19th Century, probably Swiss canton, 12 1/2 in. triangular blade of Charleville style, each side fullered, indistinct markings on ricasso, socket for a stud fitting, elbow stamped 35, stained, with heavy pitting to the last two inches of the blade, 15 1/2 in. overall
