A GROUP OF FOUR MIXED SPEARS, 1) mid 20th Century replica of a far eastern spear-halberd, brass head 14 in. by 7 1/2 in. decorated with borders and scroll-work, mounted on a broomhandle, spear-tip bent and grazed, 59 in. overall length; 2) circa 1900 hand-forged Maasai lion spear, with narrow ribbed 27 in. blade socket-mounted to a 7 1/2 in. grip, with a further socket-mounted counter-weight steel shaft, rusted, 70 in. overall length; 3) the head of a hand-forged Maasi lion spear with narrow ribbed 29 in. blade socket-mounted to a 9 in. grip, rusted, 44 in. overall length; 4) an early to mid 20th Century south Sudanese, probably Dinka spear with a 6 in. flat leaf blade socket mounted to a wooden shaft with spiralled iron binding, with further spiral binding at the shaft terminal, rusted with some splitting to the shaft, 51 1/2 in. overall
