A PAIR OF FRENCH MODEL 1866 CHASSEPOT YATAGHAN SWORD BAYONETS, circa 1870s, with 22 1/2 in. single edged steel blades fullered on each side, steel cross-guards with quillion, both blade backs marked for St Etienne Arsenal, brass hilts, one with its steel scabbard, both worn, pitted and rusted, making the markings difficult to read, 28 in. overall
