A REPRODUCTION RUSSIAN SOVIET COSSACK SHASKA SWORD SET AND IMPERIAL RUSSIAN KINDJAL BEDUT SWORD, believed to be modern Chinese reproductions, 1) Shaska sword with slightly curved single-edged steel blade fullered on each side, ricasso marked with Soviet symbols and Cyrillic script, and dated 1934, wooden grip with brass collar and bird's head pommel, collar again with spurious markings, together with its black leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass fittings containing what appears to be an original bayonet for the Mosin-Nagant rifle, 39 1/2 in, overall; 2) Bedut sword with slightly curved 17 in. double-edged steel blade with two small fullers on each side, wooden hilt with brass fittings, black leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass fittings, 26 in. overall
