A .750 FLINTLOCK MILITARY LIGHT DRAGOON STYLE PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1800, with 9 in. round steel barrel with Birmingham proofs, border-engraved steel lock engraved with stylised flowers, brass side-plate, butt-cap, brass trigger-guard and ramrod pipes, iron ramrod, walnut stock, strong spring on full and half cock, worn, rust and shallow pitting to barrel, losses to stock running back 4 in. both sides from the muzzle, stock cracked around the butt-cap, ramrod a replacement, 16 in. overall
