A 100-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-ACTION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1850, with steel 3 in. 6-shot fluted barrel cluster with Birmingham proof-marks, steel frame with nipple shield, bar-hammer and lock with border and scroll engraving, grip-straps, butt-cap and trigger-guard with scroll engraving, chequered wooden grips, missing axis pin washer, action intermittent, one nipple missing, metalwork stained with some shallow pitting and knocks to the barrel flutings, 8 1/2 in. overall
