A MIDDLE EASTERN 45-BORE SNAPHAUNCE DECORATIVE PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa mid-19th Century, 10 1/2 in. steel barrel bound with impressed white sheet-metal, steel lock , wooden stock inlaid with coloured bone-work and wrapped with impressed white sheet-metal and fixed with white metal studs, trigger-guard similarly wrapped in impressed white sheet-metal, worn, action at fault with parts of the lock missing, all exposed steel heavily rusted, some studs missing, 19 in. overall
