A 16-DOUBLE BARRELLED PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN SIGNED KITHER, DARTFORD. CIRCA 1840, no visible serial number, with 28 in. twist barrels the top rib signed 'KITHER DARTFORD', platinum vents to breeches, the fixed breech with foliate decoration, right-hand lock a replacement, the left-hand lock engraved with borderline and decorated edges, the tail with a gamebird and foliate scrolls to the front and signed 'KITHER' to the centre together with a sunburst, hammer missing, iron mounted walnut half-stock with chequered wrist and fore-end, rammer missing
