A GOOD COLLECTION OF WORLD WAR TWO BADGES AND MEDALS BELONGING TO AN OFFICER IN THE LANCASHIRE FUSILEERS, comprising of his service medals (War Medal, 39-45 Star, Defence Medal, Africa Star)in their original packet of issue with ribbons and bars (un-mounted), his dog-tags on the original neck-cord, a selection of cloth insignia including divisional sign and shoulder flashes and a quantity of brass tunic buttons and officer bronze badges (some buttons for The Kings Own Royal Rifles)

Provenance: this collection is the wartime insignia of Captain Edward Greenwood, late of the Lancashire Fusileers and the Kings Own. he later became Deputy Provost Marshal of Manchester in the Military Police
