NORWICH.' in gothic script, and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, automatic safety (sticking) with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, scroll-backed treble-grip action with hidden third-bite, carved fences, border, acanthus scroll and floral bouquet engraving, bright finish, 13 1/2in. stock (cast on for the left shoulder, something loose in stock), bolstered fore-end, weight 6lb. 2oz.
