AN EARLY PATTERN 1827 ROYAL NAVY OFFICER'S SWORD, circa 1830s, with 30 1/2in. pipe-backed and quill-pointed plain blade, inside folding gilded guard with crown and fouled anchor, brass lion's head pommel, wire-bound fish-skin grip, together with a brown leather scabbard in semi-relic condition, all very dirty and gilding worn, locket missing from scabbard, 37in. overall
