circa 1940, with 27 1/4in. nickel plated blade with single fuller on each side, brass hilt with black fish-skin grip bound with white metal wire, with its steel scabbard, bladed with plating flaking towards the point, very loose in the grip, knuckle-guard and pommel all very loose, scabbard dented and rusted, 33 3/4in. overall
