circa early 19th Century, with 33in. single-edged slightly curved steel blade with three narrow fullers and two half-moon each side, steel cross-guard, quadrangle wood and steel hilt covered with white metal in ornate mixed Arabic/Persian designs, blade and other steelwork heavily rusted, white metal decoration appears in good condition with no losses, 39in. overall
