for 1944,18in. nitro reproved (in 2021) barrel, protected blade fore-sight, adjustable peep rear-sight, round-top bolt, push-button safety, grey phosphate finish, low-wood walnut half-stock with oval-cut oiler recess, four-rivet handguard, type-2 barrel band, with a canvas sling, weight 5lb. 8oz.

US Carbine This carbine was made in February 1944.
The drop was made in Numedal, south of Oslo, and
several places often high up in the terrain. During the
last 2 years in the WWII Norway received 70 of these Carbines.
