A 10 BORE SINGLE BARREL PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN SIGNED ADSETT, CIRCA 1850, no visible serial number, with 32 in, two stage octagonal to round barrel, engraved and decorated back-action lock signed 'ADSETT', iron mounted walnut half-stock with chequered wrist and fore-end, barrel to a brown patina, the stock with some evidence of filled worm holes.
Provenance: The retailer was probably James Adsett of Guildford Surrey, established circa 1839-1866.
