GARDEN, serial no. 2322, remodelled for the Indian taste, with round tapering 21 3/4in. barrel, the last 5in. profusely decorated with gold koftgari work and possibly fitted with a bayonet lug (absent), triple leaf folding rear-sight, flip open breech, borderline engraved lock signed 'ROBT. GARDEN' and chequered walnut half-stock with iron furniture (stock worn)
