* A PAIR OF SOUTH AFRICAN ASSEGAI/STABBING SPEARS probably late 19th century Matabele, one with a smaller blade and copper wire on the shaft, one with a larger blade, both approximately 58in. overall, these spears are attached to the shaft with a socket rather than a tang, which was not the design favoured by the Zulu (2)
