A 13.9mm (WANZL) SINGLE-SHOT SERVICE-RIFLE SIGNED WEIGAND, MODEL 'SYSTEM WANZL', serial no. 863, circa 1864, with 34in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, small elevating ladder rear-sight, lift-up trapdoor breech with fixed locking lever, plain hump-back bar-action lock, walnut three-quarter stock (cracked and repaired behind lock), iron furniture including plain trigger-guard bow and two barrel-bands, moulded iron nose-cap and original iron clearing rod.
