25in. swamped octagonal in the white barrel signed in silver-gilt on the top-flat 'JACOB HEYM IN SUHL', dove-tailed white-metal fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf and carved foot, solid engraved and pointed top-tang, flat, slightly curved border-engraved lock with short stepped tail, semi rainproof pan and roller to the frizzen spring, engraved cock, walnut full-stock chequered at the wrist and with chequered wood-lidded patch-box, raised cheek-piece, gilt brass peep-sight socket fitted at wrist, engraved band around end of butt, gilt brass moulded and engraved furniture (gilt rubbed), finger-spurred lower tang, double set triggers, horn-tipped ramrod (frozen) and stirrup and button swivels
