circa 1805, with iron round 9in. barrel, solid rounded top-tang, radiused borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' on the pointed tail and with crown over 'G.R.' device below pan ('G.R. deliberately defaced), top-jaw and screw missing, not holding at full cock, walnut full-stock with bag-shaped butt (losses to wood above lock and at fore-end), brass furniture, barrel pins absent, iron ramrod
