A SCARCE GEORGE IV PAINTED WOOD TRUNCHEON OF TIP-STAFF FORM,
circa 1825, 22in. overall with red painted set-off spherical pommel above a carved band, the remainder of the body parallel for the first half and painted with a royal crest on a black ground, the lower half shallow tapering to a rounded point pierced through for a wrist-strap (original absent), some loss to paint and definition
