A SCARCE .177 CONCENTRIC PISTON AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'ABAS MAJOR', serial no. 531,
circa 1946, with 7 1/2in. tap-loading concentric barrel, the blued air chamber stamped 'ABAS MAJOR, the cocking lever marked ' REG DESIGN 845425' and 'A.A.BROWN AND SONS B'HAM', the reverse with the 'ABAS' trade logo and 'PROV PAT', smooth brown bakelite grips, pellet gauge to cocking handle, stained with traces only of finish remaining
