circa 1880, with blued 4 1/8in. octagonal barrel, raised sighting rib signed 'THE BRITISH ARMY & NAVY REVOLVER (PATENTED)', applied crescent fore-sight, notch rear-sight, break-open frame with quick release automatic ejecting cylinder, twin Pryse locking bars, double action mechanism and chequered walnut grip, fair traces of blued finish remaining
