A .455 SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'MKI NAVY CONTRACT', serial no. 620,
circa 1895, with 4in. barrel, integral blade fore-sight, break-open frame with stirrup locking latch and automatic ejecting cylinder, the top-strap deeply marked with a large broad arrow device, spurred hammer, guarded trigger, chequered hard rubber hump-backed birdshead grips and lanyard ring at heel, minimal traces of finish remaining, with a later full-flap leather holster
