circa 1906, with 6in. sighted barrel, the top-rib marked 'P. WEBLEY & SON LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', the side of top-strap marked 'WEBLEY FOSBERY AUTOMATIC', left-hand of frame side marked with the serial number, chequered sides to the hammer, chequered walnut grips, the left inlaid with 'SAFE' in gold, lanyard ring to base, the whole retaining much of its original blued finish, overall length 12in., in a modified leather service holster
