A 7.63 (MAUSER) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'C96 'BROOMHANDLE' PRE-WAR COMMERCIAL', serial no. 64548,
for between 1911-15, with 5 1/2in. sighted barrel, polished bolt with short extractor, 1000 metre graduated back-sight, milled sides to receiver and frame, integral magazine and 32 groove walnut bag-shaped grips, refinished with some shallow denting to magazine, complete with its matching number holster-stock (repaired hairline cracks to all sides) and a leather belt pouch probably originally for ammunition in clips, complete with three stripper-clips
