Belgian circa 1885, with octagonal 27in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with two additional folding leaves, partly concealed receiver with dropped sides and dropping feed-ramp, engraved detail to top of breech, external hammer to central rear, chequered walnut straight-hand half-stock (hairline cracks alongside receiver), iron furniture including heel-plate and trigger-guard bow (forming the under-lever), much apparently original finish remaining
